  • Phenylketonuria ( Defect in converting phenylalanine to tyrosine ,brain development during this period also so mental Retardation,..... limit dietry intake of protein)

  • Galactosemia ( galactose 1 phosphate uridyl phosphate, also look for congenital cataract and E.coli sepsis.. limit glucose intake)
  • Hypothyroidism
  • Cystic fibrosis
  • Sickll cell disease
